Watch your back, Lara Croft: Internet pin-up
Pamela Anderson Lee is getting her own computer game. The curvy blonde TV star
will kick virtual ass in the computer game version of her syndicated show V.I.P.
The French software firm Kalisto, which puts out a gaming version of The
Fifth Element among other titles, is developing the V.I.P game for
Dreamcast, PlayStation, and CD-ROM, according to BBC Online.
A spokesman for Kalisto tells the BBC, "In her film Barb Wire,
Pamela played a character who did not like to be called 'babe' — in this
venture she is most definitely a babe: a cyberbabe."
On the show, Anderson Lee plays Vallery Irons, bodyguard to the stars. She
and her hardbody female assistants fend off a weekly assortment of villains
while, of course, wearing as little as possible.
Anderson Lee serves as the show's executive producer as well as its star. The
syndicated series debuted in 1998 and can currently be seen in 60 countries.
Still, Pam's got her work cut out for her if she wants to take the cyberbabe
crown away from the all-virtual Lara Croft. The Tomb Raider goddess has
been on the gaming scene since 1996 and is finally headed to the big screen,
with Girl, Interrupted's Angelina Jolie attached to star.
