TNN Nabs Pam Anderson's 'V.I.P.'

By Melissa Grego

HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - Cable channel TNN, recently redubbed the National Network, has picked up the cable rights to repeats of Pamela Anderson syndicated action drama ``V.I.P.''

``V.I.P,'' which will debut on TNN in the fall 2002, is in its third season of firstrun syndication. It airs on 222 TV stations covering more than 99% of the country.

``Pamela Anderson is a pop icon,'' TNN general manager Diane Robina said in a statement. ``'V.I.P.' is the American dream -- a small-town girl living a big time adventure, with non-stop action, stunts, humor and glamour.''

Former Playboy Playmate and ``Baywatch'' star Anderson plays Vallery Irons, the head of a bodyguard agency. Natalie Raitano and Molly Culver co-star.
