Tommy Lee Released From Jail

Tommy Lee is a free man. After serving more than half of a six-month sentence for beating wife Pamela Anderson Lee, the Mötley Crüe drummer reportedly walked out of Los Angeles County Jail in the wee hours of Saturday morning.

Lee's estranged wife wasn't there to greet him as he was paroled from the pokey, where he'd spent a little more than 15 weeks for hitting her while she was holding their infant son, Dylan, during an altercation back in February.

"Tommy is at his home near Los Angeles and looking forward to getting on with his life," his publicist said in a statement. "He is grateful for the support of his family, friends and fans, and he is determined to make something positive out of the unfortunate events of the last few months."

"It's so wonderful to be out," Lee reportedly said after walking out of jail. "It has been hell." And it's not over yet. Under terms of the sentence imposed by Judge Lawrence Mira back in May, Tommy could land in jail for three more years if he violates the terms of his parole, "You have an awful lot to lose.… It's all in your hands," the judge told Lee at his sentencing.

In addition to jail time and probation, Mira ordered Lee to perform 200 hours of community service, donate $5,000 to a battered women's shelter, and refrain from using drugs and alcohol.

Whether there's a Tommy-Pam reconciliation in the future is anyone's guess. There have been reports that the two remained in mail and phone contact while Tommy was in jail, with a source telling New York magazine that the rocker even agreed to meet with Pam's shaman in order "to exorcise his demons."

But the Baywatch babe, who will show off her new look in the upcoming syndicated jiggle-fest VIP this fall, was also rumored to be getting close with surfer Kelly Slater, a former flame, and hockey star Alexandre Daigle during Lee's incarceration.
